Venice of China

This week was Chinese labor day and we got another holiday. We went on tour and saw the Venice of the East. It was such fun, relaxing and great friends.

Hi Wynn and Paula,

I am Eileen Meiners' granddaughter Natalie Gibb. My husband and I are coming to live in Beijing soon because he has an internship there. I was wondering if you have any tips or things we should know about coming there. Also, if you have any advice for getting an English teaching job, that would be great. I don't have your email, but mine is natbrower@gmail.com. Thanks so much,
Natalie Gibb

Hi Wynn,

I'm your cousin by marriage, married to your Uncle Orion's Katie (youngest daughter).

We have been thinking about trying to secure a teaching position in China, and figured you could be our guide.

Any openings where you are? Let us know how to get more info. I tried calling your 602 phone no., but you were too busy creating humorous stories to write home about.

I have a secondary teaching certificate in case they need a "professor" besides having an English teacher. Katie and I even studied a beginning Mandarin course together back in 1979 or 80. Bu yao. Wu shi mei guo ren, ni ne? Wo du shi wo du, ni du shi wo du. Zai jient.

How about providing an email and a time when you are reachable by telephone. I'll give you my phone # in an email. Xie xie, ni.
